CAD K9 is a small passion project aimed to help other dog owners find more joy in raising and training their dogs.
I was raised around dogs and got into dogs as soon as I could as an adult. I worked extensively in animal shelter environments with behavior and training and have always loved working with dogs.
Coincidentally I have found that horses and dogs just go together. Many folks who have horses also have dogs. But the conversations I heard about dogs seemed to be vastly different than what students were having about their horses. Mostly of frustration, lack of time, not understanding breed genetics and how if effected dog behavior and so on.
I took on a few students and their dogs, just as a quick favor and it has snowballed into a side passion project.
I believe dogs and their pet parents deserve to know the true joy of working together and having a real, functional relationship where they can enjoy the world together and adventure as human and dogs were meant to.
